When a person is exposed to repeated stress over time, the parasympathetic nervous system loses its tone and the sympathetic nervous system becomes dominant. When this happens, and the parasympathetic nervous system yields to the sympathetic, a number of sustained negative physiological responses occur within the body.
One response is that cell metabolism switches from the mitochondria to the cytoplasm, which causes the heart cells to stop using fat to generate fuel, and instead generate fuel through fermenting sugar. When this happens, it creates a buildup of lactic acid, which causes acidosis, and prevents the heart from contracting properly.
Acidosis prohibits calcium signaling, which prevents the delivery of calcium to the heart tissue. This causes tissue necrosis and impedes contractility, which results in decreased cardiac output and heart failure. Biophotons are the vehicle for all cell signaling -- including calcium signaling -- and acidosis impairs their efficacy.
Since acidosis is a key component of heart failure, reversing acidosis is an important step towards reversing heart failure. The biofield is fueled by quantum particles of light called biophotons. Biophoton activity is an indicator of the functional state of the cells. The more biophotons that are available, and the more light the cells store, the stronger the electromagnetic field becomes, and the healthier the individual will be.
Thoughts and emotions are the primary determinants of the amplitude and magnitude of the biofield. Positive thoughts and emotions cause the biofield to expand, while negative thoughts and emotions cause it to contract. Science has proven that cultivated organic foods supply five times as much biophoton energy as commercially grown foods, and that cooked and irradiated foods supply little or no biophoton energy at all. The more alive the food is, the more light it has stored, and the more vital energy is available to help with the healing process. Decreased biophoton activity means a lower voltage in the cells, which causes acidosis and leads to disease. Foods that have a low pH actually steal electrons from the cells, which lowers their voltage and causes the body to become acidic. But, foods with a higher pH add electrons to our cells, which increases their voltage, and helps the body remain alkaline. Cells function best with a pH of 7.35 - 7.45. When the pH drops below this level, acidosis occurs. So, it's best to have a ratio of 80% alkaline foods to 20% acidic foods in our diet, in order to maintain proper pH levels. This pH Food Chart shows that fresh fruits and vegetables contain the highest pH levels, while sodas, alcohol, coffee, meats and seafood have lower pH levels. Even purified and distilled waters are on the lower end of the pH scale. Tap water and spring water are mostly neutral, while alkaline water has a higher pH than the other waters listed.
Foods containing unsaturated fat play an important role in reducing CHF. These include: avocados, walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, and vegan dark chocolate. Foods that lower blood pressure are also a must. These include: blueberries, bananas, watermelon, celery, red beets, and oats. Among the top recommended supplements for heart failure are: CoQ10, Taurine, Magnesium, L-Carnitine, Hawthorn, and Vegan Omega 3. Also, people with CHF should avoid using added salt, meat and dairy products at all times.
